  • TinyURL for TELUS: Streamlined intranet/Internet searches by creating a centralized, user-managed, and descriptive repository for web applications, integrating Firefox/Internet Explorer search bars and creating abbreviated URLs for ease in use.
  • TELUS Labs: Designed and developed a web application for sharing innovations with other developers, enabling the marketing team to select potential products for marketing initiatives and transforming the company into a more software focused company.
  • Social Media Platform: Led a team of four, building the IT leadership team’s first customized blog and wiki; rolled out an enterprise-wide social media platform based on Atlassian’s Confluence in two months.
  • Web-based Project Management Tool: Centralized over 100 projects for 5 teams, streamlining project communications, requirements, support documents, and support processes (ticketing and user forum) by introducing and customizing Redmine, an open source tool.
  • Procurement Application: Streamlined the purchase order and equipment moves process, replacing a lengthy approval, manual tracking, and routing procedure with an automated web application.
  • eHire System: Replaced the company’s manual hiring process with a streamlined, web solution for tracking requisitions, follow-ups, promotions, and payroll; reduced errors and sped processing.
  • Team Recognition Platform: Strategized, built, and launched the company’s first interactive recognition platform, promoting core values and enabling managers and peers to nominate employees for recognition and self-select rewards via a web user interface.
  • Service Migration Tool: Transformed an internal service migration tool into a secure Internet-facing web application, hosting government data; enabled the Quebec government to track the status of circuit migrations from Bell to TELUS and edit building and contact information.
  • Service Provisioning Suite: Automated the provisioning process with four web applications and through other service providers for full network services in Quebec, where limited TELUS infrastructure exists; eliminated manual processing for over 10K orders per year.

  • Leads 2 projects with up to 15 team members, over 30 deliverables, and 5 development streams.
  • Manages budgets between $100K-$800K, facilitating a $900M deal with the Quebec government.
